We devise and realize our own projects that provide stimuli in the Swiss cultural landscape. Innovation, participation and social relevance are the concepts that guide our activities.

In The Tower

The Migros Culture Percentage not only supports cultural organizations throughout Switzerland - Migros also has its own theater! Performances take place regularly in the theater hall on the 4th floor of the Migros Tower at Limmatplatz in Zurich.

IntegrART

IntegrART promotes the collaboration of artists with and without disabilities, thus creating new forms of expression.

Migros Culture Percentage Dance Festival Steps

The international dance festival Steps is unique in Switzerland: bi-annually since 1988, Steps has invited about ten dance companies from around the world for a tour through Switzerland.

Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst

The Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst sees itself as a museum in the classic sense, with a high-quality art collection, and at the same time, as a center of contemporary art production.

bandX

bandX are regional festivals for newcomer bands. Through bandX, young people between the ages of 12 and 22 are given the opportunity to perform under professional conditions for friends, family, and fans and give them an opportunity to test their ability.

m4music

m4music is the meeting place for the Swiss pop music scene and unique in its form as a festival. m4music consists of three parts: the “Demotape Clinic” offers a platform for musicians and producers where they present themselves and receive professional feedback.

The Migros Culture Percentage Jazz Concert Series presents the newest young Swiss jazz bands in a double concert with internationally renowned jazz musicians.

The CD label Musiques Suisses documents the history of Swiss classics.

bugnplay.ch is the Swiss media and robotics competition for young inventors.

The events series “:digital brainstorming” tracks digital media in the fields of art and culture and together with the audience, investigates the new possibilities for design and expression.

Home Made – Labor für Musik und Medien (Laboratory For Music And Media)

The project Home Made builds on the do-it-yourself boom and endeavors to provide access to that world for a wide audience.

watch & talk

watch & talk, the residential project by Migros Culture Percentage and the Zürcher Theater Spektakel, invites eight young performing artists to a 10-day residential project on the Landiwiese in Zurich.

Cooperation With Small Theaters

Through an active collaboration with selected small Swiss theaters, the Migros Culture Percentage is establishing a close network of artists, agencies, and organizers

Prairie – co-production with innovative Swiss theatre groups

Every season, the co-production scheme “Prairie” supports five productions of theater groups that have already made a name for themselves locally.

Try Outs For Theater For Young Audiences

Producers of theater for young audiences often have few opportunities to perform their productions, especially beyond their region. Through project “Try outs”, the Migros Culture Percentage is working to improve distribution.
